Wear Your Seat Belt In The New Trailer For The LEGO Batman Movie

There’s a lot going on in the comic-con trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie. So Batman doesn’t live in Bruce Wayne’s basement, no, actually the billionaire playboy is the one living in Batman’s attic. Leaving the joke to the side, that’s actually a perfect metaphor for who Batman/Bruce Wayne really is.

There’s more than just slapstick humor here, these guys seem to get the character even better than some of the people in charge of the live-action films (you know who I’m talking about). Now I’m sure at some point Warner will run this LEGO franchise into the ground (sadly that tends to happen to almost everything these days), but for now they seem to be on top of it.

Chris McKay directed The LEGO Batman Movie while Seth Grahame-Smith, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers wrote it. Voicing some of the heroes from the movie are Will Arnett as Batman, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Michael Cera as Robin (of course) and Zach Galifianakis as the Joker.
