X-Men: Apocalypse is only a month away and this is a pretty good trailer, but it also gives away something I didn’t want to know going in, so maybe skip it for that reason. Don’t worry, I won’t write what that thing is below, so you can safely read this post.
READ: Only the Strong And Mighty will Survive X-Men: Apocalypse
Not gonna lie, that’s a pretty cool reveal, and I get why they did it, but did we really need to know that? I mean come on Fox, you can do better, that was cheap. Also, anyone notice they keep changing Apocalypse’s voice (no, seriously, go back and look at the previous two trailers, same lines, sound very different), hopefully by the time the movie comes out they’ll have agreed on one. Another thing, the trailer was cut in such a way that the situation the X-Men are in doesn’t seem to be as dour as before, like they might actually have a shot against Apocalypse (of course they’ll win, but the odds weren’t exactly stacked in their favor in the last two trailers).
Bryan Singer directed X-Men: Apocalypse with a screenplay by Simon Kinberg. Starring in the movie are Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy (not that much of him in this trailer), Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Rose Byrne, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Evan Peters, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee and many others.
X-Men: Apocalypse opens May 18th in the UK and May 27th in the US.
