Award Winning Documentary "Silent Tears" to Premiere On International Women's Day

After a successful premier at Abuja. The award winning documentary about gender based violence in the FCT will screen at iREPRESENT International Documentary Film Festival #iREP2016 on March 25th. Silent Tears focuses on the victimization and abuse of women in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, by a unique multi-agency government task force. The documentary further examines and uncovers the truths behind these serious violations and gives a glimpse towards the society’s perception of sexual and physical abuse on women encouraged by or perpetrated by security officials across the country. Silent Tears was screened at the 5th African International Film Festival #AFRIFF2016 where it won the Audience Choice Award.
