Adesua Etomi is a British/Nigerian Actress and Voice Over Artist born on February 22 (Year unknown) in Edo state, to a Soldier father and Civil Engineer mother. She’s the youngest in her family of three children.

She attended Corona School Victoria Island, Lagos. She later moved to the United Kingdom where she bagged a Bachelors degree in Drama and Performance at The University of Wolverhampton. And also A diploma in Performing Arts, Musical & Physical Theatre at The City College in Coventry, United Kingdom with a first class honours and triple distinctions respectively.
Adesua is clearly someone whose love for the arts runs deep. Her first encounter with acting was at the age of 7, when she joined the drama club at her primary school.

She returned to Nigeria in 2012, and has performed in several stage plays like : Secret Lives Of Baba Segi’s Wives, Saro, Shattered, The Grimm Tales, Anatomy Of A Woman, Crystal Slipper, The Crucible, Fractal, Not my cup of Tea, The Millers Tale (August 2012, Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Jesus Christ Superstar (Musical), Miss Saigon (Musical), Les Miserables (Musical), to mention but a few.

She made her film debut in 2014 after taking up a lead role in “Knocking On Heaven’s Door” where she played the role of Debbie alongside Majid Michel and Blossom Chukwujekwu.
She has however stars in movies like; Falling, Brave, Gidi Up Season 2, A Soldier’s Story, Out of luck, Couple of days, Banky w’s Made for you, she will also star in “And the Spirit Slowly Dies” alongside soon to be announced top African film Stars.

In August 2015, she joined the cast of MTV’s HIV/AIDS edutainment series Shuga 4 as Sheila and in October 2015, Adesua Etomi was also unveiled as a cast member of a Crime and Investigative drama series titled Special Crimes Unit: Las Gidi Cops which debuts in February 2016.

Adesua Etomi would again team up with Emem Isong in a big budget period piece, tentatively titled “Ayamma – Music In The Forest”
, which is primed for a Summer 2016 theatrical release.

In November 2015, leading Journalist, Film Critic, Festival Aficionado and Film Awards Jury Panelist – Shuaib Husseni dubbed her “The New Princess Of The Silver Screen”. Her Awards and Nominations Include; Nollywood Reinvented Awards 2014 – Best New Actress, Golden Icons Movie Awards 2014 – Most Promising Actress, City People Awards 2015 – Best New Actress, Golden Movie Awards 2015 – Best Actress, Golden Movie Awards 2015 – Discovery of the year, Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards 2015 – Best On Screen Duo, Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards 2015 – Female Viewers Choice, Exquisite Lady Of The Year Awards 2015 – Actress of the year (Big Screen), Exquisite lady Of The Year Awards 2015 – Actress of the year (Television), ‘The Foursight Theatre Award’ (This award was presented to her by the university for best performance in a devised piece of theatre in the whole drama department and got featured in newspaper as one of the students who the city and university were proud of.
She recently won the Best actress at the just concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2016 for her role in Falling.

Adesua can speak in British, Coventry, Nigerian, Patois and Broken Nigerian English Accents. She believes God crown her efforts with good success and his favour grace and mercy helps her stand out. Her personal Mantra is ‘I love my life…i don’t have to wish for another, i get to live many’. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, playing the guitar and swimming.
