The Complete List Of 2018 Emmy Award Nominees

The nominations for this year’s 70th annual Emmy Awards have been announced. Actors Ryan Eggold and Samira Wiley unveiled the list of nominees at the Saban Media Center this morning alongside Television Academy Chairman and CEO Hayma Washington.

“Game of Thrones,” which was ineligible last year due to no new episodes screening during the nomination window, led the field this year with 22 nominations. “Westworld” came a close second with 21 nominations.

Despite HBO’s obvious headway, Netflix has broken that premium cabler’s seventeen year streak and scored the most nominations this year with a whopping 112 across numerous categories (including the many not a part of the main broadcast) compared to HBO’s 108. Also this marks the first time since 2011 Julia Louis-Dreyfus won’t win the Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

The 70th Emmy Awards ceremony will telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on September 17th. SNL comedians Michael Che and Colin Jost will host the event with Lorne Michaels returning to executive produce for his first time since 1988. Here’s the list of the nominees for the major awards:
