I have no idea what kind of mushrooms does trolls are on, but I bet it’s some very strong stuff. Or maybe they themselves are the mushrooms. Jokes aside, there always needs to be a balance in everything and this thing so far seems obnoxiously optimistic. Unless they’re targeting only 8-year-old kids and younger, this is just too much. Also they keep advertising Trolls as coming from the genius creators of Shrek, but either those geniuses lost their touch or not that many of them still work at DreamWorks Animation. I’m gonna guess it’s a bit of both.
Mike Mitchell (Shrek Forever After) and Walt Dohrn directed while Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger wrote Trolls (both also penned Kung Fu Panda, Monsters vs. Aliens). Voicing the very colorful characters of this animation are Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Zooey Deschanel, James Corden, Russell Brand, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, John Cleese, Jeffrey Tambor, Gwen Stefani, Quvenzhane Wallis and many others.
Trolls opens in Denmark on October 13th, France on October 19th, Italy on October 27th and the US on October 4th, alongside Marvel’s Doctor Strange and Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge.
