C.J Obasi’s “Ojuju” Might Be Getting a TV Series

Ojuju is a 2014 Nigerian zombie thriller film, written and directed by C.J. Obasi. The film stars Gabriel Afolayan,Omowunmi Dada,Kelechi Udegbe,and Paul Utomi among others. It premiered at the 4th Africa International Film Festival, where it won the award for “Best Nigerian Movie”.

The filmmaker who also won the Trailblazer award at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards which other works Includes; A crime thriller “O-Town”, and “Otokoto” which is based on the 1996 ritual killings that took place in Owerri took to facebook to share the news;

“Thinking about an OJUJU TV series…I loooooove The Walking Dead too much not to want to revisit the zombie sub genre. I love that world. And the Nigerian context fascinates me. Good thing I already have a pilot script…would you watch an Ojuju TV series?”
