Tarzan returns to the jungle to save Jane and stop Christoph Waltz from doing bad things in the new trailer for The Legend of Tarzan.
“Tarzan, having acclimated to life in London, is called back to his former home in the jungle to investigate the activities at a mining encampment.”
In the last century we’ve had over 200 movies with Tarzan in the title. Tarzan has been well represented throughout the history of cinema. The Legend of Tarzan doesn’t seem to want to reinvent the wheel, and that’s absolutely fine in this case. I mean it’s been long enough since the last big Tarzan movie, and this looks good so I’m very much on board for another adventure in the jungle.
Potter director David Yates sat behind the camera on The Legend of Tarzan while Adam Cozad and Craig Brewer wrote the film’s screenplay. Starring in the new movie are Alexander Skarsgard (Tarzan), Margot Robbie (Jane), Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, John Hurt, Djimon Hounsou, Jim Broadbent and many others.
The Legend of Tarzan is unleashed starting July 1st in the US.
